Joshua Tree Park

Location: Joshua Tree, CA

Joshua Tree National Park is a vast protected area in southern California. It's characterized by rugged rock formations and stark desert landscapes. Named for the region’s twisted, bristled Joshua trees, the park straddles the cactus-dotted Colorado Desert and the Mojave Desert, which is higher and cooler.

A fascinating variety of plants and animals make their homes in a land sculpted by strong winds and occasional torrents of rain. Dark night skies, a rich cultural history, and surreal geologic features add to the wonder of this vast wilderness in southern California.

One of the timeless styles is stripes. I wanted to feel chic but comfortable walking all day in the national park. I chose to wear this black and white striped dress and added tights incase I trip to avoid any scratches. It was warm but it felt nice whenever the breeze passed through.
